Mobile wallet for a digital payments start-up
An iOS and Android wallet for everyday payments and transfers, designed to make moving money feel simple, quick, and safe for first-time users.

The founders had a licensed payments partner and a clear market, but no product. Their audience included many people who had never used a banking app, so trust and clarity mattered more than a long feature list.
The app also had to handle sensitive data and transaction logic correctly from the first release. There was no room for a casual approach to security or testing.
02
We began with a discovery phase to define the smallest wallet worth launching: onboarding, top-up, send, and pay. Clickable prototypes were tested with people from the target audience before development began.
Security and testing were planned from the start. Critical flows had automated tests, and every release went through structured regression and device testing.

Lumo Wallet guides new users through verification in plain language and keeps the main actions within a single tap. Every transaction shows a clear confirmation and receipt.
The app is built from a shared cross-platform codebase with native modules for biometrics and secure storage, connected to a back end that integrates with the payments partner.

Launched on both platforms from a single shared codebase
Onboarding flow refined through several rounds of user testing
A release process with automated checks on every critical payment flow
